The award ceremony of
Literature.gr Phrase of the Year Prize 2015
was successfully held in OSDEL on Friday, July 1st, 2016.
The ceremony was attended by publishers, writers, poets, journalists, literary agents, directors of literary magazines and friends of Literature.gr. Mr. George Andreas Zannos, managing director of OSDEL, spoke on behalf of OSDEL and Mrs. Dina Sarakinou, managing director of Literature.gr, talked on the progress of the online magazine and the establishing awards of Literature.gr Phrase of the Year Prize.
The three Prize winners, Mr. Andreas Mitsou, Mr. Philip Kerr and Mrs. Ilaira Dionyssopoulou accepted the award and spoke about writing and translation. Mr. Kostas Stoforos, journalist, talked with Mr. Philip Kerr and Mrs. Ilaira Dionissopoulou and Mrs. Tessie Baila, writer, talked with Mr. Andreas Mitsou. Mrs. Lina Pantaleon, literary critic, gave the award to Mr. Andreas Mitsou and Mr. George Tzitzikakis, writer, gave the award to Mr. Philip Kerr and Mrs. Ilaira Dionyssopoulou, as Mrs. Lina Pantaleon and Mr. George Tzitzikakis were those who suggested the phrases.
- Literature.gr Greek Phrase of the Year 2015 Prize was awarded to Mr. Andreas Mitsou for the autonomous phrase ” The body hurts where not caressed” included in the book titled “Alexandra”, by Kastaniotis Editions
- Literature.gr Translated Phrase of the Year Prize 2015 was awarded to Mr. Philip Kerr and Mrs. Ilaira Dionysopoulou (for the translation of Philip Kerr ‘s phrase) ‘’I always shoot them in the head, and it’s not just because I want to make sure of the job. I think it’s because the head, theirs and mine, is where all the trouble started: theirs and mine. ‘’ which is included in the book: ‘A Philosophical Investigation’, published by Chatto and Windus, in UK, in 1992, by Farrar Straus & Giroux in US, in 1993 and translated into Greek by Mrs. Ilaira Dionisopoulou, on behalf of Kedros Publications.
The evening continued in the garden of OSDEL where guests had the opportunity to talk with the winners and enjoy a drink accompanied by classical music. Literature.gr warmly thanks all those involved in the ceremony and especially the three winners. Their presence established the ambitious award of literary prizes. Special mention is attributed to Mr. Philip Kerr, who traveled from London to attend personally the ceremony.
H εκδήλωση απονομής των Λογοτεχνικών Bραβείων
Literature.gr Phrase of the Year Prize 2015
πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία στον ΟΣΔΕΛ την Παρασκευή 1η Ιουλίου 2016.
Την απονομή τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους στελέχη εκδοτικών οίκων, συγγραφείς, ποιητές, δημοσιογράφοι, λογοτεχνικοί πράκτορες, διευθυντές λογοτεχνικών περιοδικών και φίλοι της λογοτεχνίας. Ο κ. Γεώργιος Ανδρέας Ζάννος, διευθυντής του ΟΣΔΕΛ, απηύθυνε τον χαιρετισμό της βραδιάς και η κ. Ντίνα Σαρακηνού, διευθύντρια του Literature.gr, μίλησε για την έως τώρα πορεία του περιοδικού και τη θέσπιση των βραβείων Literature.gr Λογοτεχνική Φράση της Χρονιάς.
Οι τρείς βραβευθέντες, ο κ. Ανδρέας Μήτσου, ο κ. Philip Kerr και η κ. Ιλάειρα Διονυσοπούλου αποδέχτηκαν τα βραβεία και μίλησαν για τη συγγραφή και τη μετάφραση. Ο κ. Κώστας Στοφόρος, δημοσιογράφος, συγγραφέας, συνομίλησε με τον κ. Philip Kerr και την κ. Ιλάειρα Διονυσοπούλου και η κ. Τέσυ Μπάιλα, συγγραφέας, συνομίλησε με τον κ. Ανδρέα Μήτσου. Το βραβείο στον κ. Ανδρέα Μήτσου απένειμε η κριτικός λογοτεχνίας κ. Λίνα Πανταλέων και τα βραβεία στον κ. Philip Kerr και στην κ. Ιλάειρα Διονυσοπούλου ο κ. Γιώργος Τζιτζικάκης, συγγραφέας, καθώς ήταν η κ. Λίνα Πανταλέων και ο κ. Γιώργος Τζιτζικάκης που πρότειναν τις διακριθείσες φράσεις.
- Το Βραβείο για την Ελληνική Λογοτεχνική Φράση της Χρονιάς 2015 του Literature.gr απονεμήθηκε στον κ. Ανδρέα Μήτσου για την αυτόνομη φράση «Πονάει το σώμα όπου δεν χαϊδεύεται» η οποία είναι από το βιβλίο του με τίτλο ”Η Αλεξάνδρα”, Εκδόσεις Καστανιώτη.
- Το Βραβείο για την Μεταφρασμένη Λογοτεχνική Φράση της Χρονιάς 2015 του Literature.gr απονεμήθηκε στον κ. Philip Kerr και την κ. Ιλάειρα Διονυσοπούλου, για την μετάφραση της φράσης «Πάντοτε τους πυροβολώ στο κεφάλι, και όχι για να βεβαιωθώ απλώς και μόνο ότι έγινε η δουλειά. Αλλά επειδή από το κεφάλι, το δικό τους και το δικό μου, ξεκίνησαν όλα τα προβλήματα: τα δικά τους και τα δικά μου.» του βιβλίου του Philip Kerr με τίτλο ”Φιλοσοφικά Εγκλήματα”.
Μετά την απονομή η βραδιά συνεχίστηκε στον κήπο του ΟΣΔΕΛ, όπου οι παρευρισκόμενοι είχαν την ευκαιρία να συνομιλήσουν με τους βραβευθέντες και να απολαύσουν ένα ποτό συνοδεία κλασσικής μουσικής. Το Literature.gr ευχαριστεί θερμά όλους όσοι συμμετείχαν στην απονομή και ιδιαιτέρως τους τρεις βραβευθέντες, που με την παρουσία τους καθιέρωσαν τον φιλόδοξο θεσμό των λογοτεχνικών βραβείων. Ιδιαίτερη μνεία αποδίδεται στον κ. Philip Kerr, ο οποίος ταξίδεψε από το Λονδίνο, ώστε να παραστεί αυτοπροσώπως στην απονομή.
